Pairing Your Replacement Sony Earbud or Case

Initialize the earbuds to restore the factory settings

IMPORTANT: The initialize operation resets all the device settings to the factory defaults and deletes all pairing information.

Notes:

  • Delete the pairing information for the earbuds from the connected device and then pair them again.
  • When the charging case's remaining battery charge is insufficient, the earbuds will not start initializing.
  1. Place the earbud headphones in the charging case.
    Note: Leave the charging case lid open.
  2. Press and hold the initialize button on the back of the charging case for about 15 seconds or more.
    Hint: The indicator on the charging case repeatedly flashes blue twice in a row, and then the indicator starts flashing orange.
  3. Release your finger within 5 seconds after the indicator on the charging case starts flashing orange.
    Hint: When the initializing is complete, the indicator on the charging case flashes green 4 times.
